For enhanced security, users may choose to enable password protection or other local security measures for saved simulation models and project files within Yano Simulator.

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Protecting locally stored files;
  • Managing file passwords and encryption;
  • Maintaining backups of important projects and models; and
  • Preventing unauthorized access to their own devices and storage systems.

Damotion shall not be responsible for any loss, corruption, unauthorized access, or leakage of locally stored files resulting from:

  • Lost passwords;
  • Device compromise;
  • Malware or cyberattacks;
  • User negligence;
  • Hardware failure;
  • Third-party software interference; or
  • Other events outside Damotion’s direct control.

2.4 Online Uploaded Content

Damotion may temporarily or permanently store content voluntarily uploaded to online platform services, including:

  • Cloud-saved simulation files;
  • Publicly shared models;
  • Collaboration-related content; and
  • Technical support attachments.

Users remain responsible for ensuring uploaded content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe third-party rights.

6. Account Deletion and Data Retention

6.1 User-Initiated Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion at any time.

After a deletion request is submitted:

  • The account enters a seven (7) day cooling-off period;
  • Users may restore the account during this period; and
  • After the cooling-off period expires, associated account data may be permanently deleted.

Certain legally required records or billing-related information may be retained for compliance purposes where required by applicable law.

6.2 Automatic Deletion of Inactive Accounts

Accounts inactive for more than one (1) year may be automatically deleted, including associated online-stored private data and uploaded content.
