Troubleshooting
A simulation will not run
Run Validate Model. Resolve missing equations, invalid references, wiring errors, and incompatible run settings first. Check that start time is before end time and that the time step is positive.
Results are unexpected or unstable
Check equation units, stock inflows and outflows, delays, initial values, time step, and graphical-function boundaries. Compare a shorter run and smaller time step. Use sensitivity analysis to identify influential assumptions.
Validation says Unavailable
Run the prerequisite analysis. Sensitivity evidence requires a completed sensitivity run. Behavior-reproduction evidence requires a compatible completed calibration optimization.
Sensitivity or optimization fails
Confirm every parameter targets a valid variable, minimum is below maximum, distribution settings are valid, and the response/payoff exists. Imported calibration data must contain series names matching the selected payoff elements.
An imported model shows warnings
The source format may contain unsupported or differently interpreted features. Save an editable copy, inspect the warned equations and structures, then validate and compare key trajectories with the source application.
Export or print is blank
Make sure the model canvas is open and contains visible content. For image or PDF output, review the transparent-background setting and open the exported file before distributing it.
An encrypted model will not open
Retype the password, verify the correct file, and try a known backup. Touch ID requires a stored credential for that file. A wrong password and file corruption can report the same integrity failure.
The app appears to ignore a setting
Confirm the dialog with its primary action, then reopen it. Application settings affect presentation and exports, while model run settings are stored with the model.
