Run History and Comparative Results

Open Model Inspector > Data Manager to manage saved simulation runs.

Normal simulation history keeps up to 10 runs by default. Change the limit in Data Manager when a project needs more or fewer retained runs. Sensitivity and optimization executions keep their complete latest sample/evaluation cohort independently of this normal-run limit.

Runs are stored independently inside the .yano project and load only when needed. A run marked Earlier model revision remains a valid historical result, but its equations or simulation settings differ from the current model.

Run records

Each stored run shows its save time, sample count, and variable count. Available actions include:

• Use In Comparison to include or exclude a run from comparative output
• Export CSV to save that run's result data
• Delete to remove one run
• Clear History to remove all stored runs

Deletion cannot be undone through the Data Manager. Export important results before removing them.

Comparative plots

Enable Comparative Across Runs in a supported Workspace or canvas-plot setting. Comparative mode uses the runs marked Use In Comparison and is intended to compare the same variable across multiple runs.

For a useful comparison:

1. Run the model with the first parameter set.
2. Keep that run in history and enable Use In Comparison.
3. Change the intended assumptions and run again.
4. Enable the new run for comparison.
5. Select a compatible variable and comparative display.

Runs with different variables, arrays, or time ranges may not align cleanly. Interpret missing segments and differing sample times explicitly.

Interactive simulation

The Workspace can expose eligible scalar constant auxiliaries and flows as live controls. Configure Expose as Interactive Control, minimum, maximum, and increment in the variable's Behavior inspector. Adjusting a control re-simulates while the interactive Workspace is active.

Interactive widgets require simulation output. Use Reset for one control or Reset Controls for all controls.
